A person who often views pages on the global network or maintains his own website probably knows what rewriting is. With a high degree of probability, we can assume that when reading a news resource, the visitor is faced not with the original, but with a certain way of processed materials.
Surprisingly: knowing what a rewrite is, in most cases it can be quite accurately determined in just a couple of minutes by some key features. At the same time, without this knowledge, you can face rewrite daily and not even be aware of it. This is such a funny situation.
What is rewrite
The term in question is based on two English words: Re and Writing. The meaning of the first is similar to the Russian language and means "repetition, renewability." And the second (in this case) is the noun “scripture”. When combined, it turns out "re-writing" or "rewriting." In other words, a person takes any information that is available in writing, works with it in detail, trying to understand the main idea, and then, again in writing, presents the future reader with the same idea, but in his own words. Speaking of what rewriting is, one cannot fail to mention the term “uniqueness”.

Its meaning is very simple: the fewer differences in the converted text and the original, the lower the uniqueness of this work. That is, if, having previously familiarized yourself with the original material, you can easily determine the source, then we are talking about a simple rewriting with low uniqueness: it uses similar turns of speech, words and expressions. In a more complex version, the percentage of similarity is much lower, although the text is also recognizable. And finally, rewriting with high uniqueness may not contain similar turns at all. Although, even in this case, a person who often encounters “rewriting” can sometimes determine rewrite in the order of presentation: for example, the roof of a house is described first, then the walls, and, finally, the foundation. However, experienced rewriters, whenever possible, try to move away even from the original order, while maintaining and transmitting all the information without semantic distortions.
What is it for
Currently rewrite is used in two main directions: for direct earnings and website promotion. Although, given that the Internet resources themselves are often created specifically for profit, the differences in these areas are very vague. So, for many, rewriting is work. Demand for the services of one or another rewriter to a large extent depends on the uniqueness of the material received, the ability to accurately determine the main idea of the original text and style of narration. A striking example of earnings in this area is the offer of their services on specialized Internet exchanges. In turn, site owners are interested in redone unique materials, as this allows you to attract more attention to the resource from search engines, which has a positive effect on traffic.
Rewrite example
Finally - an example of rewrite. Consider two small texts: the first is the original, the second is an alteration.
Source: "The bright sun slowly crossed the sky, trying to hide behind the horizon."
Rewrite: "The sun, slowly moving across the sky to the horizon, was dazzlingly bright."
