In fact, only a few varieties of dracaena can be bred at home. These are the Fringed dracaena, Sander, Godsef, Fragrant, Derema and Bent. In addition to everything described above, it must be provided with high humidity. The plant cannot tolerate dry air, as evidenced by dry, painful leaves. Especially air humidity should be monitored in the winter when heating is turned on. Like any other indoor plant, dracaena needs watering. In summer, it is more plentiful than in winter. To provide it with additional moisture, you can use watering from a pallet on which wet pebbles or sand is laid. In winter, the plant should not be watered very often, since excess moisture can lead to death. To determine if dracaena needs watering, you can lower your finger into the ground a couple of centimeters and look at the condition of the soil. If it is dry, then it should be watered.

How to care for dracaena, if she acquired an unhealthy appearance. To begin with, it should be fed. It should be noted that the plant needs to be fed throughout its life, but this should not be done often, about once every two months. Feeding is carried out with a mineral solution such as Darin, Ideal, Agricola. It is extremely undesirable to use phosphorus fertilizers for these purposes, since dracaena does not tolerate fluoride. If water with fluorine content is used for irrigation, then it must be filtered or boiled.
