The Pakhra River is the largest tributary of the Moscow River. It flows from the south side of the capital. The Pakhra River originates at the Medvedka tract in the middle of a small swamp, seven kilometers from the Ozhigovo railway crossing. At the very source, it represents in places in the summertime a drying up tiny brook that makes its way through the dense birch forest to the northeast. Replenishing several nameless tributaries in this section, turning into a full-flowing river, gradually changing the direction of its flow, turns east.

Virtually no fishing is strictly permitted from the tenth of April to the fifteenth of June. At this time, you can go fishing only from the shore and with a maximum of two fishing rods per person. In this case, fishing is allowed to be carried out strictly in those places on the river that are not listed in the list of spawning places.
