Children's theater is a powerful means of influencing the formation of a child’s personality. Kids love to play, it develops them and prepares them for adulthood. And when they see a talented game on stage, their soul absorbs the whole performance to the smallest detail. Children also like to participate in the action. For young actors, this is a transition to a fairy tale, and makeup and costumes will complete the transformation. For the performance to succeed, you need a good script for a children's performance, adapted to the age of the children.
What are the scenarios
Scenes that are put in kindergarten, usually represent one-act. All events unfold in real time. There is no curtain, so scenarios should be selected with this in mind.
In elementary school, a performance can take place both in a class with shifted furniture and in an assembly hall. During school-wide events, the cast may be of different ages. It only brings the guys together.
The scenario of a children's play often carries an educational direction:

In kindergarten

1 scene. House, in the distance a forest. The path leads in two directions.
The storyteller talks about the beautiful village where Mom lives with her daughter, Little Red Riding Hood. He explains why they call her that, and points to the forest in the distance - Grandma lives there. Grandfather is a lumberjack, so he and Grandma live in the forest.
Mom comes out of the door, calls her daughter and asks her to bring some presents to Grandma. She says she already called her and she is waiting. Mom asks her daughter to call her grandmother’s mobile when she comes to her. He and his grandfather set a new second door, and no calls or knocks were heard.
A girl takes a basket, looks into it. Mom goes to the house. Daughter walks along the path, collects a bouquet and sings a song.
Wolf comes out. He finds out where the girl is going, what he carries in the basket - and also decides to visit Grandma. He points a long road, and the girl leaves the stage. The wolf runs on the spot, saying that he will first eat Grandma and then the girl.
The storyteller explains that the Wolf runs along a short road and will now be at Grandma's. Sounds music. A curtain.
2 scene. After opening the curtain, the house is already on the other side of the stage. The Wolf runs out and knocks on the door. An old woman in a scarf and glasses looks out the window, sees the Wolf. He does not notice her. She takes off her scarf and glasses and hides in the house. Wolf climbs out the window.
From the house comes the voice of the Wolf: "There is no one here!" He looks out of the window, notices a scarf and glasses. He puts on and says: “Nothing, I'll wait for Little Red Riding Hood.”
The storyteller explains that Grandma turned off her cell phone so that he would not accidentally ring and hid in the closet. And she left a handkerchief and glasses specially on the window so that the Wolf thought that she was gone. Because everyone knew that Grandma leaves the house only in lenses.
The wolf put on a handkerchief, glasses - and sat at the window, periodically falling asleep and snoring.
Red Riding Hood comes up. In the hands of a basket and a bouquet. She tries to call, but no one opens. She says: “Where is Grandma?”
The wolf wakes up and in a squeaky voice finds out who came. He then instructs to pull the rope. The girl says: "Grandma, you changed the door, open it yourself." The wolf disappears into the house and his voice is heard: "Get into the window, the door does not open."
The storyteller explains that the door is opened only with a key, and his Grandmother took with her to the closet. The girl calls Mom and tells about the door and that the grandmother offers to climb out the window.
The storyteller reports that Mom did not say anything to her daughter, but she called Grandfather herself, and he was about to rush into the new jeep with his team of lumberjacks.
There is a dialogue between the Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood about Grandma's hands, ears, eyes and teeth. In the end, the Wolf crawls out of the window and rushes at the girl. Sounds the music of lumberjacks. The Lumberjacks come out, surround the Wolf. A curtain. Music trails off.
In front of the curtain, Little Red Riding Hood is crying. The woodcutters, Wolf and Grandma come out. They are hugging. Lumberjacks say they took the Wolf to the brigade. Now he does not have to starve. Grandmother tells how she sat in the closet. The wolf asks to give him tea. Everyone is going to drink tea with cakes that Little Red Riding Hood brought. She goes to the audience and treats them to sweets. All bow.
Musical cutscenes include a storyteller, he also gives signs to the performance of actors and sound design groups.
In the school mug
The script for a children's play for a school production may include dance numbers, monologues in verse, children performing musical works from the stage. It is proposed to stage the musical “Fly-Tsokotuha”.
1 scene. Field, music. There is a fly, a large gold buckle on his belt. She picks up flowers and sings "I see a wonderful freedom." Leans down and raises a fake coin.
The fly reads the beginning of Chukovsky’s tale: she went across the field and found a money. She decides to go to the market for a samovar. Leaves the scene.

2 scene. Flies Apartment. Large table, chairs around. In the corners - sofas. In the background is a window with curtains. On the left is the door. Sounds music "At the samovar, I and my Masha." The doorbell rings, Fly is about to open. Cockroaches enter.
The fly invites: “Come on in” - and offers tea. They sit at the table, drink tea. Fly comments on the events of the tale.
Bugs come in, bring milk and pastries. A fly accompanies their actions with the words of a fairy tale.
Fleas come in, give boots. The fly accompanies everything with the words of Chukovsky.
Lame, the Bee walks heavily. Carries a barrel of honey. Cockroaches quickly uncork it and put it on the table. Everyone eats honey, scooping up spoons from the barrel. The music subsides.
Butterfly comes running, she protects the figure. Refuses tea. All of her chorus persuade: "Eat jam."
Spider enters unnoticed. He grabs a fly and drags it to the door. Cockroaches notice this and comment in horror.
A fly asks guests for help. They, uttering the words of Chukovsky, hide who where. Grasshopper jumps to the door, reciting poems about himself.
The fly concludes: "No one will move."
The spider ties the Fly to the chair with ropes, rubbing his hands and licking his lips. These actions are commented from under the bug by the chair. The fly is screaming. The insect also commented on this.
Music “Time is ahead” by G. Sviridov. Everyone froze. The curtain opens, Mosquito enters in a musketeer costume and with a flashlight.
The insect comments on his arrival with the words of Chukovsky.
The mosquito pronounces his words: “Where is the villain?” - and attacks the Spider. Struggle, they run out of the door. Back Mosquito comes alone. The Grasshopper follows him and tells what he saw.
The mosquito continues itself: "He takes a fly by the hand ...". He and Mucha decide to get married.
Music "The wedding sang and danced." Everyone crawls out of their shelters and comments on the events of the fairy tale.
Komar and Mucha dance the Waltz of the Flowers.
All come to the edge of the stage and throw flowers at the audience. Bow down.
Children of different ages can play the roles of both children and adults. This determines the choice of scenario. Along with such works that pass through the school curriculum, there are classic things that are unforgettable and loved by everyone. This is Cinderella, Swineherd, Frost, Aibolit. The script is not written very close to the text, popular songs and music are added. Do not forget about the author’s remarks - these are instructions to the actors about the place, time, situation and other features.
Magic is replaced by a special effect. The author prescribes in the script how to make a miracle. This is called the author’s remark. For example, in the fairy tale “Moidodyr”, a candle runs away from the boy. This can be done like this: by tying a fishing line to a candle, stretch it behind the curtain. There is an actor who will gradually pull out the fishing line, and the candle will “run away”.
Along with the usual characters of the tale, new ones can be brought into action: a boy with an iPhone, a caring grandmother who follows her grandson with a wallet of useful things, a modern scientist (he, like Paganel, will help heroes get out of difficult situations not with the help of magic, but with the help of science).
At the theater studio
For teachers conducting classes with children in the theater, goals and objectives differ from school settings. A child who has been trained in a theatrical collective must be able to transform. He is taught to collect gestures and facial expressions of different people in a kind of "piggy bank". Then he will sculpt an image based on this baggage.
