Today Sergey Safronov (illusionist) is known as a performer of stunt numbers, as an actor and screenwriter, and also as a host of a reality show, in particular, of the well-known Battle of Psychics. He repeatedly participated in the telecasts "You are an eyewitness", "Wonder People" and many others.
Childhood
The middle of the three brothers, Sergey Safronov was born on September 30, 1982 in Russia, Moscow. His parents, Svetlana and Vladimir Safronovs, since childhood, had placed great hopes on their son, not sparing time and money on his personal development. Both of them were engineers, but, according to Sergey himself, mother always dreamed that her sons became actors, and father wanted one thing - team spirit. And so it happened. In the present, Sergey, Ilya and Andrey are the legendary founders and participants of the Safronov Brothers illusion shows - spectacles that are unsurpassed in realism and mystery at the same time.
Sergei once said: “We are so different. Andryukha is a shy one, Ilya, of course, a philosopher, and I’m a joker and a merry fellow. ” Naturally, they quarrel, sometimes compete or suffer from a "star fever", but ... "Everything can be overcome when you do a common thing," he added.
Jumble and Wick
Sergei Safronov, whose biography is very interesting, still in his school years loved to play in theatrical school productions. Around the same time, he was invited to voice storylines for the Jumble magazine "Jumble", popular among children. This collaboration lasted about five years. Twice he even got the role, after which the shooting took place, and one of the personnel productions was made when Sergey was already an adult.
After graduation, Sergey Safronov studied at the School of Circus and Variety Arts, and finally became an actor. Long, as he himself says, worked for seven years in Sovremennik, the most famous and revered drama theater of our time.
Sergey Safronov is an actor by vocation, but his film career is limited to only a few small works. In 1993, he was chosen for filming the plot "New Times" in the newsreel "Wick".
The beginning of the career of an illusionist
When at first Ilya, and then Andrey began to come up with the first numbers for future illusion shows, becoming interested in tricks, Sergei firmly decided to support them, although he became part of the team much later. But he fully engaged in the preparation of the props and, in his words, “I had to buy a sheet of plywood that was 2 meters long” on the market.
The decisive television appearance, which marked the beginning of popularity, was broadcast live on the program “What?” Where? When?" in 2002, when the Safronov brothers performed “Burning Alive”. “We were going home with the feeling that we would wake up famous tomorrow,” - said Sergey under the impression of what had happened to him. This was followed by a series of invitations and filming of the most diverse nature: then, in 2002, the brothers staged an incendiary show at the Rock Festival in Luzhniki when the concerts DORO (Warlock) and UDO (Accept) were held.
Alexander Tsekalo invited Safronov to do a stunt performance for the musical “Twelve Chairs”. By agreeing to work on this project, the illusionists have become even more popular. They were fortunate enough to join the ranks of the members of the New York International Club of Mages.
Many productions with tricks have glorified the Safronovs, one of which is “Teleporting a Man from Geneva to Montreux,” which shocked Switzerland, which showed it on television in 2003. A similar trick - with the brothers suddenly appearing - was organized by them during a concert with the orchestra regarding the new album "Ships" by Svetlana Surganova.
Personal life
Strange as it may seem, the first steps in the career of the illusionist at Sergei coincided with the beginning of family relations. Maria, the producer of the project “Miracle People” on NTV, in the filming of which he took part, didn’t immediately like Sergey: “I couldn’t understand why the guys from the film crew were running after her.”
Noticing that his two brothers are also interested in Masha, he suddenly thought that "perhaps he became blind." His thoughts were interrupted by her invitation to a joint gala dinner on the occasion of the magnificent shooting. “It was so delicious that I simply recalled the path to the man’s heart,” says the illusionist.
Naturally, Sergei began to visit Maria more often to "fix something or hammer a nail." But then I realized that he had been living here for a long time. In 2011, the couple became engaged, but the wedding of Sergey Safronov was postponed for some time due to the pregnancy of the bride.
Only when a child was born, young parents were finally able to become legal spouses, and now they are raising a daughter Alina and a son Vladimir. Safronov’s wife, Maria Maria, claims to be infinitely happy in marriage with him.
Wizards "go to the people"
In 2003, Ivan Usachev, the host of the TV show “You Are an Eyewitness,” announced the Safronov brothers new participants in the program, after which a series of scenes took place over the year, demonstrating tricks to people walking along the streets of Moscow. At the same time, Sergey Safronov and his brothers realized a long-standing plan and launched the “School of Magic” column on M1, which unobtrusively suggested trying to work “miracles” using the techniques of a magician.
Sergey Safronov has a number of awards that he received for several years at the award ceremonies, in particular, from the MTV channel called Gameland Award-2005, the Golden Gramophone from Russian Radio.
The whole year 2006 was quite interesting for the Safronov brothers: they attended rock concerts of the Leningrad music group by Sergey Shnurov, Alexander Pushnoy, Svetlana Surganova and her orchestra as a specially invited guest.
"The fight of extrasensories"
A year later, Ilya, Sergey and Andrei Safronov were given an interesting task for the “Battle of psychics”: to recognize and expose the illusionists as applicants who want to obtain the status of a psychic. The brothers became the hosts of the show on an ongoing basis, independently chose a list of tests for the participants. “This project realized not only the dream of television, but also helped in satisfying the desire to look for real psychics,” said Sergey.
“Wonder People” and “Island”
In 2008, a documentary filmed by him on real events about the Safonov illusionists was presented on the Euronews channel. From the first days of 2009, the program "Wonder People" was released, which was famous for the involvement of celebrities and passers-by in the tricks of the Safronov brothers. Filming of their show broadcast “Ukraine of Miracles”, which began in 2012, is still taking place in different cities of the country.
One of the most unique gifts of fate was the victory for Sergey in 2013 in the reality show "Island", held on NTV, which brought him universal love and as much as 12 million rubles.
