Configuring the proxy server in the Opera browser.

Sometimes it happens that you need to go to some site, but access to you is closed to you. What to do? In this case, you will need to bypass this lock. You can use proxy servers, or special sites “anonymizers”.

First, consider the option of entering the site using a proxy. By default, this feature is disabled, because simple access and site processing is used initially. Further it will be described in detail how to enable and configure such proxy servers on the opera, the version of which is “11”.

You need to go to the menu "Settings" - "general settings". Or press the key combination “ctrl + f12”. Then you need to find the “advanced” tab. So far, setting up the proxy server has not started, because you are only on the way to the place where it is being implemented.

In the “advanced” tab on the left there will be a special menu in which you need to go to the “network” item. There will open a tab in which there will be many configurations of connection and data processing. But we don’t need all this. Click on the "proxy servers ..." button there. Now the basic proxy server settings will open.

There will be two ways: manual and automatic. You need to make it so that you stop at the manual settings mode. Further you will see that there are several types of protocols. The most common protocol is "http". The https protocol is used on sites with a secure type of connection. Usually it is on some important sites where important confidential information is transmitted from the user.

You need to configure the proxy server protocol "http". To do this, check the box next to "http". After that, the following configurations will open, where you need to enter the proxy port of the server and the address itself. But now you probably thought about where to find the proxy server address and its port.

These Internet addresses are full. More precisely, to say the full, it means - to say nothing. To do this, open any search engine and enter the query “proxy server settings” or “proxy servers”, or something else like that. You will see a large list of sites that have these proxy server addresses. Choose the one you like and use it then constantly. To do this, you can bookmark this site.

Select there a list of proxy servers using the http protocol. Then copy and paste in the settings in the opera. Save the setting and start opening sites. If it works, then rejoice. If not, then try a different proxy server. It happens that some do not work. After that, the sites will not determine your real IP address and will not see which country you are from. They will only see information about your selected proxy server.

When choosing a server, it is advisable to prefer one that is closer to you. Since if it is far away, then your pages will load more slowly than if you loaded directly.

It should be noted that these addresses are constantly changing, disconnecting, adding new ones and the like. Therefore, you will need to change them often. Understanding when to do this is simple - how the pages will stop opening, meaning the proxy you are using has disappeared.

This setting can be turned on and off using a short path, rather than the one described above. But so you can only turn them on and off, and not edit. To do this, press the F12 key. You will see a quick settings menu. There you can turn them on and off, and many other necessary and often used things.

There is another way, without using these servers, using sites such as anonymizers. These services allow you to navigate through the pages, being in anonymity. This method is also convenient in that it allows you to log in to sites that not only blocked you, but also in cases where your Internet provider blocks access to a particular server. In this option, you do not need to configure a proxy server.
