Jack Nicholson played the role of Dr. Buddy Rydell, relieving his wards of patients (including Dave Baznik) from excessive aggression. This character is like a little devil from a snuff-box: an inveterate psycho and a devil-tempter all rolled into one. His first appearance in the frame encourages those completely unfamiliar with the development of the storyline, looking ahead of time to feel sympathy for the hero of Adam, while it’s more convenient to sit down and enjoy the anticipation of the show.

Not without moralism
Exemplary acting, which is the undoubted advantage of the tape, is diluted with the predictability of the storyline, which somewhat upsets the beholder. However, disappointment disappears in a flash after another trick of the main characters. The face of Nicholson, who zealously shoots Buddhist monks with a water pistol , cannot be forgotten, absolutely like the indescribable gamut of emotions and amazing facial expressions of the hero Sandler, who fell under the protracted courage of his doctor. Having created a wonderful creative duet, Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler once again confirmed that they are outstanding actors. "Anger management" is hard to imagine without their participation.
The comedy could not do without a fair amount of moralism, the viewer will be able to try on many features of Sandler’s character on himself and draw the appropriate conclusions.
No frills or innovations
Unfortunately, the plot is secondary; there are no innovative refinements and originality in it.
Dave Baznik (Adam Sandler), soft, weak character, crammed with life, restraining all humiliation and resentment, accumulates rage like a snowball, and once it breaks out at once. By a court decision, the hero is sentenced to the observation and treatment of Dr. Buddy (Jack Nicholson). The result of the interaction is an inexorable rendezvous, consisting of a doctor moving to Dave, sleeping in the same bed, throwing food at the walls and pushing the car from high-altitude parking lots.
Smooth at first glance, the story unfolds at a hurricane pace, increasing momentum from one verbal skirmish to the next, from one cretan situation on the verge of hysteria to another. Actors do not allow to pay attention to flaws in directing or script. "Anger Management" is definitely recommended for viewing.
