Customization
First you need to create a connection to the global network. To do this, select “Set up a new connection - Connect to the Internet” in the network control center (the icon next to the clock with the tray) and, following the wizard’s prompts, create an appropriate shortcut (you need to know the dialer number and password). After that, you need to download Handy Cache - the program is completely free for the home user, and links to it are easy to find. After starting in the "Settings" tab of the "General" section, you need to activate the "Start with Windows" function. Then proceed to the “Dialer”, where to click the button “Refresh list”. If there are several connections, then highlight with the cursor. Now it remains to put the desired checkmarks. For automatic connection, you need to select "Dial at startup". The dial-up function is very useful when a connection is lost, which often happens in 3G wireless and classic Dial-Up connections. If no other proxy server functions are needed, then all items in the "Cache" and "Lists" sections should be deactivated.
