Some hunters talk about the poor effectiveness of the 7.62x39 ammunition used by the SKS carbine. The reviews, however, are controversial. Some users, on the contrary, emphasize the success of this cartridge. Many shooters would prefer heavier ammunition. How many people, so many opinions.

The SKS hunting carbine proved to be excellent during hunting for relatively small ungulates, shooting wolves and any animals up to 100 kg. When equipping a weapon with optics, it can be used at a distance of up to 300 m. The carbine, despite the complexity of its production and far from a primitive design, is quite simple to operate.
