Makukha: what is and how is used by fishermen

Fishing is a very popular hobby. And do not think that his fans are exclusively men. One day you may meet a very elderly grandmother in a headscarf, sweater, skirt and sneakers, which is very deftly and skillfully fish from the lake.

makukha what is

Yes, and children willingly join (of course, mainly to their fathers) and recklessly participate in water hunting. It should be noted that for children this is also useful in terms of development, since fishing qualitatively trains patience (which is always lacking for children and adolescents), attention and perseverance. But if not only the process is important, but also the result that I would like to fry on a fire or cook in a pot, then it is worthwhile to delve deeper into the intricacies of what you are doing.

Many fishermen highly welcome fishing methods that use makukha. What is makukha? Oilcake remaining after squeezing the oil from the seeds of sunflower or flax (more often still there are sunflower oilcakes). It is used in two ways: as complementary foods in the place of the alleged fishing or as a bait in the cattails.

Which Makuku to choose

Based on the purpose of the cake. The easiest way is to find it in separate pieces (the so-called battle). Honestly, this is a very low quality makukha. What is a "delicacy" is not very interesting to fish, any fisherman with a little bit of experience will tell you. So you can use it only for luring. This is due to the fact that the "factory" makukha is too weakly pressed, so it easily crumbles. At the same time, in most factories the freshness of oilcakes, to put it mildly, is not monitored very closely, so stale mackerel most often has a bitter aftertaste, which is absolutely unattractive to fish. And for the bait fenders, which are a much more effective way of fishing, you need a very high-quality makukha. What quality can only be found in the markets, all anglers agree. Moreover, the cake should be pressed in circles and be fresh - this can be determined by the gleaming glossy surface and taste resembling a very hard halva.

Proper training is the key to successful fishing

do-it-yourself makukha

It is not enough to be sure that the right Makukha has been bought: that such a treat will cause a rich catch, no one will give you guarantees if you do not make some more efforts. The acquired circle must be correctly cut: a very small hacksaw for metal or wood. Three centimeters are indented from the edge and a piece is cut off from the whole circle. After another 3 cm, the next piece is sawn off - and so on until the circle ends. Cross sections are made every 6 cm, these will be the most correct sizes. Do not think that this is the end of the work: these are only preparations that will be brought to mind directly on the shore before fishing begins. And until this desired moment they will have to be stored in a carefully sealed bag, wrapped with tape for fidelity.

Without a catwalk, good fish cannot be caught

Make it simple and fast. A sinker is taken through which the fishing line is pulled. A couple of double knits fit on it, and a stop bead is put on in about fifteen centimeters (sometimes they do without it). A loop is fastened at the end of the line or a latch is attached. A hole is made from the top of the blank from which the fishing line is passed, and “dents” in the corners, into which hooks will then be conveniently inserted. It remains to fix the clasp with hooks - and your catwalk is ready for fish hunting.

what does makukha mean

Required Extras

Fish - carp in particular - has a wonderful scent. The inhabitants of rivers and lakes react to an unusual smell by ignoring its source, and what does this mean? Makukha must first lose its characteristic "spirit." Experienced fishermen advise harvested cattle-brewers to soak for several hours in the water where fishing is planned.

It is important to prepare signal rods in advance. You can cut them from the nearest bush, or you can prepare them from wire and carry them with you. Some make a mistake using baby rattles for notification, not taking into account the possible sharp and strong jerk, from which the toy simply flies away in an unknown direction. Do not save, buy normal bells.

Your makukha is always cooler!

meaning of the word makuha

The importance of fresh oilcake for successful fishing we have already proven. However, high-quality makukha does not always come across. You can make it with your own hands, even if there is no press for pressing - the craftsmen also use the usual jack. The most “delicious” are considered to be cake made from ground seeds, crushed ready-made flakes (one third of the total mass), peas, nuts and shortbread cookies, which are taken in approximately equal proportions. All this is pressed, after which it dries up for about a week in a dryer or a well-ventilated room. The meaning of the word “Makukha” in this case is slightly distorted, since the composition includes not only sunflower seeds, but it should be noted that the fish is almost in line in such a meal.
