The formation of the size of payments is influenced by the regional factor. For example, the minimum for the capital is from 700 rubles per month for each member of the family who has not reached the age of majority.
How to apply for benefits for children under 18?
To receive monthly compensation payments, it is necessary to prepare a number of documents. You will need originals and copies of the passport of the parent (or guardian) issuing the allowance, and the birth certificate (or passport) of all minor children in the family. A certificate of the composition of the family is required (it is done when contacting the passport office, and its validity period is one calendar month). Documents confirming the income (or its complete absence) for each of the parents will also be required. These are: certificates of employment, extracts from work books or certificates from the Pension Fund. If one of the parents does not work, but at the same time receives an education, then it is required to submit a certificate from the educational institution or from the Employment Center.
If a child allowance up to the age of 18 is assigned upon loss of the breadwinner or in case of parental evasion of child support, you will need to provide a death certificate for the parent (or a certificate from the court). Single mothers will also have to confirm their status with an appropriate certificate. To pay for the care of a disabled child (or HIV-infected), relevant medical documents are provided. If the family with disabilities is not only one or both parents, but also the child (children), then you will need certificates or extracts from the medical history.
When filling out documents, do not forget that a child allowance up to the age of 18 is paid only if the child is a student of any educational institution. If the child does not study, then payments cease on the day they reach 16 years of age.
